Diet coke and Mentos Woodfield-styles!

Well with the help of 9LM we did the first, in many (myself and the DT teacher Paul are a bit obessed with it now and are in the midst of planning bigger and better experiments!) diet coke and mentos experiments. It was actually quite fun getting to lead the lesson... and the kids really enjoyed it!

You need to drill a hole in the lid, thread string through the hole and then tie on the mentos.
Screw on the lid, then when you drop the string the mentos hit the coke and expand through the small drill hole ( = higher stream of coketos juice!)
