Lovely white powdery snow this morning!!!!

So i got to school early this morning and made a snow man with the help of the caretaker, Paul and his trusty broom.

As a bloody jaffa I just love the snow- everything it touches seems to be beautiful- from bare twigs through to car yards full of cars. So cool and beautiful and magical somehow.

Even though the clouds are black the day just seems bright!

Im a mental

In honour of being stuck in traffic on the bus and it being a lovely day, Ive decided to set myself some goals for the day!

The first one is to see how hyper I'd get if I drink 6 cups of tea (Its 11.45 and I've had 3 thus far)

The second is to see how many kids I can get to do 'The Todd 5'. As in 'The Todd' off scrubs.....

Today is THE most miserable day of the year:

Appartenly a combination of christmas debt (don't I know it!!), failed New Years resolutions, fading holidays etc. etc. means that today is the most miserable day of the year. Personally I'm rather happy today. I have my sights set on being the top goal scorer for our 5 a side league (Watch this space tomorrow!!!) and am generally happy with the state of things at the moment, unlike some people.........


Fart gas holding undies:
This stole the show (forget Jade Goody and the whole Celebrity Big Brother fiasco....). I could not stop laughing at this one in the staffroom, largely to my hugely immature nature (I can't help it, I just find farts hilarious!). Pants that actually trap and treat the gas...... maybe an investment for me hehehehe.
Could you imagine pulling some hot guy and bringing home to your place, only to discover that he was wearing those! Hahahahahahahahahahha

Guess what?! We drove through the small area of London, Kensal Rise that was hit by that random tornado on the way to the Science Museum with school. Heres some pics of the munted houses with loads of scaffolding...

Sorry to bore y'all but Im a bit bored on a Saturday afternoon and feel like being indulgent and put my Carly spin on some of the top sporting stories of the week.....

Luis Garcia

I love Liverpool, and in particular the lovely sexy Luis Garcia....

but the night he got injured I was having a big rant about him in the staffroom about how he was one of my top hot footballers and that I hoped he was playing in the Carling Cup quarters against Arsenal. He then managed to rupture his anterior cruciate ligament and is out for the rest of the season. Poor wee man : (. I think I may have jixed him!

Slightly talented might be the word for old KP? I dunno I hate the English cricket team- Freddie Flintoff is annoying KP is actually a Saffa (and has his own website..... I mean REALLY?!). But I must say that Glenn McGraths ball-in-the-ribs incident didn't look that bad. I guess I can't really comment as Im just an 'armchair fan' of cricket. But I just think in general the English cricket team are soft.

So how are my resolutions going????

To eat more fruit and vegetables
I actually bought grapes today instead of chocolate, and last week I managed to go through 3 carrots, 20 clementines, 6 kiwi fruit, a block of celery, 1 courgette 1 head of lettuce, 2 tomatoes 2 onions- 1 pack of mushrooms 2 potatoes and 2 tins of tomatoes- thats not a bad effort. I had salad for lunch twice this week so am going to keep that one up!

To be more ladylike and curb the old belching
The kids at school were amazed when I wore a skirt the other day.... I just don't think I can be arsed wearing makeup to work. As for the belching, that's a habit I just don't think I can curb. I especially did a really loud one the other day actually- possibly the loudest I have ever heard!

To drink bottles of beer instead of pints- then I won't get as drunk, as giving up alcohol is just not feasible, sadly....
Do bottles of wine count in this one Carly???? Hmmmm I think I need to work on this one personally, judging from afterwork drinks last night!

Also the usual bollocks- to loose some weight blah blah that just never happens
Will be working on that one too- not very happy that I hurt my back playing football on Wednesday which means I might not be able to play on Monday and Tuesday- poos!

Im afraid Im steadily being led astray by the God awful reality TV bollocks that has infiltrated the TV.

So I get home from work, and like most people I watch the telly- unless Im playing soccer or at the pub. First thing that I watch is usually an old episode of Scrubs- no quarms there... followed by a healthy dose of Ready Steady Cook (love that Ainsley) and then onto Home and Away....

........... and then onto reruns of Dawsons Creek........

I just want Champions League football to start again so I have some substinance to my weekly TV viewing. Either that or I could knit something else......

A sign of the times???

Over the last month or so I know:

2 couples newly engaged
2 couples expecting babies
2 couples getting married
2 couples having babies

These people- you know who you are, and congratulations are all people people I know reasonably well, and are all my ages, more or less.

This is absolutely fantastic news and is great, but I can't help but feel like I'm lagging behind the rest. I'm still single, almost 26, and barely have enough money to get by on from month to month. I'm happy most of the time, but I guess my biggest fear is being a mad old spinster and being referred to as 'Mad Auntie Carly' by all my mates kids.

Just thought I'd get that off my chest!

Spew Rash City

I had some awful tummy bug yesterday- potentially the fault of dodgy chicken burgers or dodgy half price indian nibbles but as a result I'm sporting what seems to be THE worst spew rash ever. Im too scared to leave the house today...... : (

Happy happy New years!

Yay had a rather lovely New Years, which was spent in central London with my friends Dave and Ian, watching the awesome fireworks from the London eye! Very good stuff! Chaaaa hoooooo!
